Sue’s nursing and teaching career spans over 35 years. Sue has done research in the area of perinatal bereavement and works as a Perinatal Nurse Navigator at Maple Grove Hospital. She cares for families who have suffered the early or late loss of a baby. Her role also includes leading a monthly support group and organizing baby remembrance events.
Sue is an adjunct nursing professor at Bethel University and she is also currently serving on the board with the International Stillbirth Alliance. In 2015 Sue was recognized as Minnesota Nurse of the Year, Women’s Health. She resides in the Twin Cities of Minnesota with her husband, her two grown children and their families.
