Nicole Longmire

Nicole Longmire, BS, MPH, MAEd, IBCLC, SBD, IPPE-C is an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant, public health professional, perinatal educator, and bereavement doula. She is the founder of Mother Nurture Consulting in Melbourne Florida, works as the Professional Development Coordinator for the United States Lactation Consultant Association (USLCA), and provides loss-aware childbirth education and lactation support at Mount Sinai Hospital.

She also volunteers with PLIDA (Pregnancy Loss & Infant Death Alliance) and her local Fetal and Infant Mortality Review (FIMR) team and facilitates bereavement retreats for Hayden’s House of Healing as a Compassionate Colleague.

Following the 2021 death of her infant son, Owen, she has focused on advancing evidence-informed, trauma-responsive lactation and bereavement care through education, advocacy, and professional collaboration.
